The song ‘Lollipop’ sung by Big Bang and 2NE1, which is currently a hot track, standing at #1 positions on various music chart, has also caught the attention of American star blogger Perez Hilton.
Perez Hilton introduced the ‘Lollipop’ MV, with subtitles, in a post title ‘Some Yummy K-Pop Deliciousness with subtitles‘ on 8th April. This while, Perez Hilton has also introduced several other Kpop stars like Um Jung Hwa, WonderGirls, Lee Hyori and So Nyeo Shi Dae.
Perez Hilton’s blog is a popular entertainment blog in America, attracting up to 1.5 million views a month. He blogs and updates fast about news and gossips on top stars in American. And this is the 3rd time he introduces a MV by YG Entertainment on his blog.
He first introduced Um Jung Hwa’s ‘Disco’ and has described her as ‘The Korean Kylie’ and then he also introduced Big Bang SeungRi’s ‘Strong Baby’ writing “In any language, this is hot’ as the post title.
The song ‘Lollipop’ has been the hot topic recently for being the #1 song on various music charts even though it is not being performed for any music programs once as it is a CM song for LG Lollipop phone.
The song is even said to be “a song that will not be inferior to other songs if it is to be released in America” by some industry analysts.
Also the MV attracted more than 1 million views in just 3 days of its release. Much attention is also focused on group 2NE1 even before their official debut.
