“Celebrity’s past…ashamed? NO! a fresh look“

Although somewhat embarrasing, big stars from nowadays were still full of talent and with attractive appearances in the past. Various CFs, music videos, dramas and movies from the past were watched to find the hidden freshness of these stars.

Fans are quite surprised to see the different image from these stars but since early in their rookie days they noticed there was a star inside of them.

TOP, “Even in 2050 I want to do Big Show”

Male idol group Big Bang held their ‘Big Show’ concert on the few last days of January at Seoul Olympic Stadium. For the three days a massive number of fans showed up from all over the world.

- At the concert member TOP surprised the fans with the unveiling of his new solo song “Turn It Up”.

- Girl group 2NE1 also performed on those three days. While performing “Fire” and “I Don’t Care” they were cheered on by the fans.

- Members G-Dragon and TaeYang had a joint stage where they performed “Korean Dream” off of G-Dragon’s solo album ‘Heartbreaker’. G-Dragon held a mini DJ session showing the fans his skills.

- Even though fans on the 2nd and 3rd level were unable to see the boys up close that didn’t stop Big Bang. The boys glided over the fans on wires to reach the 2nd and 3rd floor making sure they had fun as well.

- DaeSung said, “When the accident happened, I was really worried I wasn’t gonna be able to ever sing again. But I was able to walk away from it. I feel really blessed.” Last year after filming for SBS’s ’Family Outing’ DaeSung was met with a car accident. It took him 8 weeks to get better afterwards

- TOP ended by telling fans that even in the year 2050 he‘d still want to continue doing ‘Big Show‘. The fans were really impressed.

[NEWS] 090512 Lieu of Press Conference for Drama ‘IRIS

A production announcement press conference was held on 12th May in Seoul GooRoDong 9th Avenue for the upcoming KBS drama ‘IRIS’.

The main cast Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Hee, Big Bang TOP, Kim So Yeon and Kim Seung Woo were present at the press conference.

‘IRIS’ is said to be the best anticipating drama of year 2009 with its famous cast.

Lee Byung Hun acts as Hyun Joon who is works for NSS investigating a great national conspiracy. Kim Tae Hee acts as SeungHee who also work for the NSS. Whie Kim So Yeon acts as Kim Seon Hwa who works as both a staff at NSS and also a operation agent in the drama.

Also Kim Seung Woo acts as a North Korea escort team leader while TOP plays a cruel killer in the show.

The show is set to be 20 billion KRW in the making, and its cast will bring the viewers through action and romance scenes with the backdrop of Asia and European countries.

The drama is set to air in the latter half of the year in September.

TOP talks about the difficulty in acting for this drama.

He said during the press conference, “The truth is that I had a lot of pressure doing this drama. At first, it was a lot of pressure on me, but then now it is more like a great sense of responsibility. I take the role in the drama very seriously and I also learnt a lot from the senir actors. It is great that I can show a different side of me through this drama.”

This is the first adult role taken up by TOP since his drama on KBS ‘I am Sam’. He said, “I act as a teenager in the drama ‘I am Sam’ in 2007 but with this drama I’m acting as a killer. I did preparations myself and also learnt along the way from the seniors around. I’m very excited about being able to show a new image of myself to the Korean and Japanese fans.”

“Of course there are difficulties to this role too. From what I see, the character is very different from myself in actual. Hence it is tough acting as a cruel killer.”

Yesterday was a special day for our Talented YG singer, Gummy. April 8th 2009 was her birthday. There wasn’t any birthday bash held for Gummy this year to celebrate together with her fans, instead YG came up with the idea of Gummy’s gift box where fans were able to have a real time chat with Gummy. Big Bang’s TOP has been commended by the co-stars and staffs of drama IRIS, scheduled to air in September on filming scenes.

One of the producers of IRIS said, ‘although he is young, he is very well mannered. During the stay in Akita (Japan), he was monitoring other actors/actresses’ scenes to learn, and after the filming, he remained to help out the staffs’. Many generations of his age are often criticized of their individualism, but TOP was into team-work in every possible opportunities.

His acting abilities are also commended. His role of rivalling Lee Byunghun as a cold killer was well-received by the staffs. Although there were not many lines, his strong eye contacts and acting abilities were better than expected. [RUMOR] TOP, Sandara and Seungri Drama together?

In the same Korea-Japan joint telecinema series, that is. While DBSK’s Jae Joong has filmed Episode 1 “Heaven’s Postman (천국의 우편 배달부)” with Han Hyo Joo, Big Bang’s T.O.P and Seungri have been purportedly confirmed for Episode 7’s “19 Years Old (19세)”. Japan is shaken up from the visits of hallyu stars.

There are many Japanese visiting Akita-hyun (the site where drama IRIS is being filmed) to see Lee Byunghun, Kim Taehee and more. They have booked the hotels around the filming site, so much that Yang Hyunsuk from YG entertainment is having trouble finding a room.

The first take of IRIS has begun on 10th, and Japanese fans have been around the hotels and filming site to see the faces of their favourite stars.

Japanese Broadcasting stations are also eyeing the steps of these stars.

The interest will be heightened when TOP of Big Bang joins the crew on 17th. Previous hallyu stars have been famous among the ah-joom-ma’s, it is highly predicted that TOP will bring the fans of younger ages.
