Actor Jake Cuenca celebrated his 21st birthday last Tuesday minus the big bash but nonetheless more meaningful.
Cuenca
opted to celebrate his birthday at CRIBS Foundation, Inc., which houses
abused children. As for his birthday present, the actor received a
photo album that contains his pictures collected by his fans from
different parts of the globe.
“It’s not really material, it’s
the sentimental value. ‘Yong effort [they put] into it. Noong nakita ko
yong photo album na ginawa para sa akin natuwa talaga ako,” he said.
He also happily shared that his former girlfriend, actress Roxanne Guinoo, greeted him.
“’Yong
pagkaka-happy birthday niya sa akin talaga namang sincere na sincere…
‘yong parting ways namin magandang-maganda talaga,” he said.
Cuenca and Guinoo are set to be reunited for a “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK) episode where they shot a steamy kissing scene.
“The
scene that we did was very, very intimate kasi it was not [just] one
kiss… when we were in the moment, that was the moment of the two
characters, hindi [na] ako si Jake at hindi [na] rin siya si Roxanne…
siyempre nakaka-miss yong kiss” he said.
The actor was all
praises for Guinoo, saying he was grateful because his former
girlfriend supported him while shooting the MMK episode.
